Information on personal data treatment

We send you the following notice in accordance with the new provisions that came into force with the Italian decree law D.Lgs.196/03 ("Regulation on the protection of personal data"), with regard to the following:

1.COLLECTION OF DATA
The data may be collected directly from the data subject or via fax, e-mail or electronic or paper files obtained from the data subject.

2 PURPOSES
The purposes of the collection and the processing of data are strictly related to customer relations management (e.g. the acquisition of preliminary information for the conclusion of contracts, the performance of transactions on the basis of obligations arising from contracts with the customer, checks and evaluations of results and the progress of relations as well as checks on related risks etc.).

3. TYPE OF DATA, TRANSMISSION OF DATA AND THE CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSING TO PROVIDE SUCH DATA
The transmission of personal data used for the purposes stated above is not compulsory, but any refusal to provide the data may, depending on the connection between the data and the service requested, make it impossible for Hydrocontrol S.p.A. to perform the respective service.

4. DISCLOSURE OF THE DATA
Hydrocontrol S.p.A. informs you that the personal data in its possession, collected directly from the data subject, or from third parties, may also be used by third parties appointed as responsible for the fulfilment of obligations under the law, and regulations and EU legislation, or in compliance with orders of lawfully entitled Authorities, supervisory and controlling bodies.
The list of entities to whom the data may be disclosed may be consulted in the manner indicated under art. 6.
The personal data may be disclosed to the natural and legal persons referred to in the list in art. 7 as they are responsible for the data processing.

5. MANNER OF PROCESSING THE DATA
The processing of data may be carried out manually or with the assistance of information technology and computerised means suitable for their storage, management and transmission. The data are stored in paper as well as in electronic archives. Under all circumstances the treatment of data will be strictly correlated with the stated aims and in such a way as to ensure their security and confidentiality, through the adoption of measures that prevent their alteration, deletion, destruction, unauthorised access or treatment that is unlawful or not in accordance with the purposes for which they were collected.

6. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
The subjects whom the data regard have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of personal data and to gain information about their content and origin, to check their correctness and to request them to be complemented, updated or rectified. The subjects also have the right to demand the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or block of unlawfully processed data, as well as to oppose their processing in any case if legitimated to do so.
